I appreciate that even after our fellowship with America Achieves is over, Ben and Jennifer continue to bring teachers in Washoe County together to celebrate our successes, share ideas and resources, and start to mobilize around advocacy and policy work. Spending just an hour with old and new friends totally energized me for the weeks ahead of holiday breaks, unscheduled and nearly constant holiday excitement; and assemblies, performances and tasks out of our normal routine.
